Luke Wyatt

Luke is one of our newest apprentices within F P Hurley and he is currently enrolled on the Higher Apprenticeship in Construction which involves studying for a HNC in Construction and the Built Environment and a NVQ L4 in Construction Site Supervision.

Luke’s interest in engineering started with a part time job in a local bike shop, where practising bike maintenance sparked his enthusiasm for how products and systems are designed to operate optimally. Luke enjoys the day to day challenges of his role and enjoys the practical structural design elements within physics, and the mechanical problem solving questions in maths. He works well under pressure and within a team to help complete projects in a timely manner for the clients.

Outside of work Luke enjoys cycling, swimming, DIY, long walks and going to the gym.
