Pledging our Support to Mental Health Charity, The Lighthouse Club

We’re proud to continue supporting the Lighthouse Club through an annual support pledge for the charity. The Lighthouse Club is a charity that provides mental health and financial support to the construction community and their families. It offers a dedicated Construction Industry Helpline which is run 24/7 for those in need of support and a helping hand.

The Charity reports that every day in the UK 2 construction workers take their own life, and stress, anxiety and depression account for one fifth of all work related illness. The Lighthouse Club provides emotional and nurturing support and works with a vast network of organisations and supporters to ensure they can offer the right support to those who’ve fallen on hard times. The Charity can sanction counselling sessions free of charge, provide access to lawyers and even provide financial grants for those facing poverty situations.
