Exciting Futures with F P Hurley
We are delighted to announce we have enrolled 7 apprentices at colleges in both England and Wales to start their heating and ventilation apprenticeships, despite delays due to COVID-19 and college closures. The new apprentices began their training this month with an online enrolment where they met their tutors and fellow members of their cohort. They will continue to learn remotely until colleges are able to safely re-open for face to face learning.
F P Hurley also continued to recruit during 2020 despite the challenges, and we are in a position to enrol a further 5 apprentices in September 2021.
Adrian Hurley, Managing Director, comments:
“I’m thrilled we have kept pace with apprentice recruitment this year, considering the challenging circumstances. Finding young people to fill the skills gap is critical for the building services sector, and we know that it’s important to invest in local people who are enthusiastic to learn a trade or profession to help provide a successful future for themselves and the company.
We continue to work closely with BESA and a number of colleges within Wales and the South West of England to deliver high quality apprenticeships. I wish all our new recruits a warm welcome and every success in their training.”
