Contract Win for F P Hurley on Futures for Somerset School Refurbishments

F P Hurley has been appointed to deliver the mechanical refurbishment to three schools within the South West Region for education specialist, Futures for Somerset. F P Hurley will be working as Principal Contractor to fully refurbish the mechanical building services at three sites: Stanchester Academy in Stoke-sub-Hamdon, Crispin School in Street and Maiden Beech Academy in Crewkerne.

The projects, which are worth in the region of £2 million to F P Hurley, will see the team delivering the installation of heating systems, domestic water, drainage and ventilation services. Works commenced during the summer holidays of 2020 with all projects expected to complete by the end of October 2020.

The projects represent our strengthening relationship with Futures for Somerset having worked in partnership with them on several key education projects across the region for many years, including the recent Chevally Building at Bridgwater College Academy which was a finalist at the recent LABC Building Excellence Awards 2020 South West Region.
