Charity Five-a-Side Football Tournament

We were delighted to take part in the five-a-side football tournament hosted by McCann at Play Football in Swansea. The event was held in aid of the Wallich Charity, which works tirelessly to prevent homelessness. The tournament started with a group stage, followed by knockout games. F P Hurley’s team put in strong performances and came top of Group A. In the semi-final they went on to beat the runner up of Group B with a score of 6-4 to reach the final. In an exciting final against McCann’s team, the full-time score was 5-5, taking them through to a penalty shoot-out during which F P Hurley managed to scoop a win and lift the trophy!

It was a fantastic event, and all the teams played with passion and good sportsmanship throughout. Alongside having plenty of fun and demonstrating a competitive team spirit, together we managed to raise £645 for a great cause.
