F P Hurley Apprentice Wins Chairman’s Award
Third-year H&V apprentice, Lewis Ahern, was awarded with the Chairman’s Award for his outstanding achievements at the BESA Wales and SW Awards in May 2019. The Chairman’s Award celebrates commendable performance, recognising those who go over and above to achieve great results.
Lewis Ahern, Apprentice, said:
“I’ve put a lot of hard work in and it’s fantastic to be recognised. I will be entering my final year soon, and this has given me the motivation to be successful and to achieve the very best I can. The support I have received has been excellent, and my mentors on-site have been invaluable in helping me learn and develop”.
Several other F P Hurley H&V apprentices were runners up on the night, including Mike Joseph (first-year apprentice), Elliott Murdoch (second-year apprentice) and Ronan Templeton (third-year apprentice).
We are extremely proud of all our apprentices for achieving a high level of competency in both the practical and theoretical aspects of the apprenticeship scheme. We recognise that they are the potential leaders of tomorrow, so we remain committed to providing the opportunities they need to grow and develop.
