F P Hurley attends as Exhibitor at the IHEEM Healthcare Estates Conference in Manchester
We were delighted to attend the IHEEM Healthcare Estates Conference as an exhibiting company, held at the prestigious Manchester Central Complex on the 4th and 5th of October. The conference and exhibition, which is the UK’s largest event for the healthcare engineering sector, brings together those who design, build and manage healthcare facilities. It is a key occasion for those working within the NHS to plan and aid their planning and purchasing decisions each year. The event offered a thought provoking forum that focused on several key areas pertinent to the healthcare sector, particularly after the pandemic, which included key engineering services and Net Zero Carbon.
F P Hurley attended as an exhibitor located within the Carbon Energy Fund (CEF) stand at the 2 day event after joining the framework earlier this year. Adrian Hurley, Dr. Ken Gale and Simon Luff attended and took the opportunity to engage with other engineers, decision makers and management professionals from a variety of backgrounds both within the NHS and other healthcare providers. Our team showcased our expertise in building services within unique healthcare environments to a targeted audience and were able to talk to those on the ‘front line’ about how our services can help address the challenges within the healthcare sector.
Dr Ken Gale was also a guest speaker at the conference and delivered a talk at the Energy and Sustainability Theatre on his recent personal experience of climate change in the Arctic, which was well received with great interest shown.
It was a highly successful event with a range of organisations, healthcare specialists, and over 200 exhibiting companies.
