We’re Finalists at the BESA National Awards 2022
We’re delighted to announce that we’ve been shortlisted at the BESA National Awards 2022 in the ‘Large Budget Project of the Year’ and the ‘Competence and Compliance’ categories.
The Large Budget Project of the Year award rewards one exceptional project, which is valued over £500,000. We’re excited to say that we’ve been shortlisted for the Police Learning Centre project for South Wales Police in Bridgend, which was a leading project for collaborative working and high quality workmanship which resulted in a building that the client was overjoyed with.
The Competence and Compliance Award, which is a new award category launched this year, recognises companies who demonstrate the greatest commitment to improving their professional standards to keep building occupants safe. It will identify those companies who are investing in raising their safety and professional standards in readiness for the new Building Safety Act which will come into effect next year. Having significantly invested in professional competence and compliance in recent years, through several initiatives including BESCA’s Competent Persons Scheme, we’re thrilled to be a finalist in this category.
F P Hurley also has three employees going forward as finalists for the National Awards after several wins at the BESA Wales Regional Awards in May 2022, which include Mike Joseph in the categories of L3 H&V Apprentice of the Year and Overall Apprentice of the Year, Jordan Budd in L2 H&V Apprentice of the Year and Claire Pilcher who is a finalist for Customer Services Representative of the Year.
The National Awards will take place on the 20th October 2022 at the Novotel London West. Good luck to all finalists!
