F P Hurley Hosts Annual Golf Day at Ashburnham Golf Club, Burry Port

Following months of postponed and cancelled events due to the coronavirus crisis, it was decided that F P Hurley’s annual golf day could go ahead in line with the Government’s advice on outdoor activities.  This involved a last minute venue change due to the lockdown in Bridgend preventing us holding it at the prestigious Royal Porthcawl Golf Club. The event was held at the stunning Ashburnham Golf Club in Burry Port on the 23^rd September 2020 which saw a number of keen golfers from our valued clients join us for a fantastic day. The weather remained dry as golfers from Morgan Sindall, Willmott Dixon, Cambria, SD Solutions, John Perkins Construction and TPS Construction gathered to enjoy the beautiful course. Spending the day out on the greens lifted everyone’s spirits and the atmosphere stayed jubilant throughout the day.

Our congratulations go to Richard Jones of Willmott Dixon, who was awarded the ‘best score’ on the day and received a silver plate in recognition of his achievement.

Despite this year’s event being largely scaled down in order to meet separation guidelines, everyone had a fantastic time and the day was a safe success. We would like to thank everyone for taking part in the day, and we look forward to next year’s event.
