Charity Committee Completes Modernisation Project at St. Alban’s Church
St. Alban’s Church run a weekly Sunday Service and regularly host parent and toddler groups but felt facilities at the Church were substandard to accommodate these groups. With no disabled toilets or baby changing facilities the Church was in desperate need for fit-for-purpose facilities to support and maintain community engagement.
Our Charity Committee offered to help solve these problems by improving and revamping the facilities. Our team quickly set about converting the old male toilet cubicles into a spacious disabled toilet and converting the female toilets into a modern unisex toilet with brand new sanitary ware. They also converted a redundant space into a functional baby changing unit so that parents attending the groups have a dedicated and private space to safely change their babies. The team also installed new flooring and new doors to the area, installed a new radiator and re-decorated the entire area providing a bright and airy space.
